Meet the Artist

"Every silk creation is a transmission of energy filtered through my being, shaped by the state of presence I bring to the ritual of dyeing. As an artist, I surrender to the process and act as a channel, allowing the current of life to flow through me, imprinting a unique essence into each piece of silk.

Through dying silks, I seek to create intentional tools to enhance dropping into deep presence, radiant joy, and healing. A rippling invitation to return to the sacredness of presence, authentic embodiment and expression."

— Whitney Evergreen

Whitney Evergreen is a multidisciplinary artist and founder of The Bamboo Closet, a female owned and operated textile art sanctuary devoted to crafting vibrant, hand dyed silk dance props and apparel.
