Shipping policy

Shipping Timeline

  • Ready to Ship (RTS) orders typically ship 3 - 7 business days after purchase. 

  • This schedule allows our team of three to process a high volume of orders from a limited home studio space. On average, we process 100+ items per shipping period. Thank you for your patience.

  • Tracking details are emailed automatically to the address provided at checkout. Please refer to that email for shipping updates. We do not respond to requests for tracking or shipment updates.

  • Made to Order (MTO) creation time varies depending on the product.  Please refer to the item description for more information on creation time.

Worldwide Shipping

  • We ship worldwide. A flat-rate shipping + insurance fee applies to all international orders outside the US. Expedited shipping is available for an additional fee. 

  • International customers must include a phone number with their shipping address for customs forms.

Customs & Import Fees

  • Customs fees vary by country and package value.

  • These fees are the customer’s responsibility and cannot be predicted or covered by us.

  • If an order is returned due to unpaid customs, the customer may either:

    • Purchase a new shipping label for reshipment, or

    • Receive a 50% refund (minus shipping costs).

  • Customers must select an option within 7 days of our notification email. If no response is received, a 50% refund (minus shipping costs) will be issued.

Returned Orders (Any Reason)

  • If an order is returned to us for any reason, a new shipping label must be purchased to resend it.

  • The new label must be purchased within 7 days of our notification email. If a new label is not purchased within this time, a 50% refund (minus shipping costs) will be issued.

Rush Orders


  • If you need your order by a specific date:

    • Read all terms and details in the “Rush my Order” listing description

    • Purchase the “Rush My Order” listing

    • Leave a checkout note with details

    • Send a follow-up email to support@thebamboocloset.com

  • For urgent timelines, upgrading to Priority or Express Shipping is strongly recommended.

*Rush requests are subject to availability and are not guaranteed. If we are unable to accommodate a rush request, the rush portion of the order will be canceled and refunded, and we will notify you by email.
